What if you were a step sequencer?...

Or...what if you could control a step sequencer with your playing?

These sets have interesting patterns sequenced by repeatedly striking one of the drums.

Create complex patterns and interesting polymeters simply by playing the drums steadily, or mix up the internal grooves that live on the drums by playing broken rhythms or buzz rolls.

Many of these patterns are stereophonic and polyrhythmic! For example, they might be set up to cycle a 7 sample pattern in the left channel, but a 6 sample pattern in the right. So if you play a simple pulse on this drum, it will play back a 6:7 polymeter in extreme stereo.
