Brooklyn Vanguard

A beautifully-tuned, remarkably-detailed and sensitive jazz kit. Named Brooklyn Vanguard because of a certain inspiring drum manufacturer's rich Brooklyn history (they operated a factory in Williamsburg, Brooklyn for many years).

Recorded at Sunhouse HQ in Long Island City, Queens by the Sunhouse team, the kit was tuned specifically for maximum jazz. The pack is recorded precisely for Sensory Percussion, with nine-zone coverage for each snare and tom, and three zone coverage for the kick. Each zone was recorded at three velocity levels, and has five layers of round robins per level, enabling the level of acoustic detail that is only possible with Sensory Percussion.
