Marcus Gilmore was at the WNYC Studios in New York for a live performance and interview with host John Schaefer for the Soundcheck Podcast.

He talks about using Sensory Percussion in his music, how he achieves his incredible limb independance, about growing up in a musical family, and his current work writing for orchestra under the mentorship of Zakir Hussain.
